Points System

1. Batting (Scoring Runs)
  • Each run: +1 point (includes all runs, including boundaries and sixes)

  • Boundary (4 runs): +1 per run + 2 bonus pointsTotal: +6

  • Six (6 runs): +1 per run + 4 bonus pointsTotal: +10

  • Fifty (50 runs): +20 bonus points (added to run points)

  • Hundred (100 runs): +40 bonus points (added to run points)

  • Duck (0 runs): –10 points if dismissed without scoring

  • Strike Rate (SR): Depends on match format

    • Example for T20:

      • SR > 150: +10 points

      • SR < 70: –10 points

2. Bowling (Throwers)
  • Each wicket: +25 points

  • 4 wickets in a match: +20 bonus points

  • 5 wickets in a match: +30 bonus points

  • Maiden Over (0 runs conceded in an over): +15 points (ODI, T20 formats only)

  • Economy Rate (ER): Varies by format

    • Example for ODI:

      • ER < 5: +20 points

      • ER > 8: –10 points

  • Hat-trick (3 wickets in a row): +50 bonus points (rare)

3. Fielding (Fielders)
  • Catch: +10 points (per catch)

  • Stumping: +20 points (for wicketkeepers only)

  • Run-out participation: +15 points (shared if multiple players involved)

  • Direct Hit (run-out): +25 bonus points

4. All-rounders

All-rounders earn points for both batting and bowling.

  • Example: If Hardik Pandya scores 30 runs (+30) and takes 2 wickets (+50), he earns a total of +80 points.

5. Captain & Vice-Captain
  • Captain: Points ×2

  • Vice-Captain: Points ×1.5

  • Example: If your captain scores 100 points, it counts as 200 points on the leaderboard.

6. Penalty Points
  • Slow Strike Rate (T20, SR < 50): –10 points

  • Dropped catch: –5 points

  • No-ball / Wide ball (by bowler): –10 points each

7. Match Bonuses
  • Man of the Match: +50 bonus points

  • Team Win Bonus: +20 points if most of your fantasy team players are from the winning real team

8. Format-Specific Rules
  • Test Matches: Extra bonuses for 100+ runs and 5+ wickets

  • T20: Strike Rate and Economy Rate have greater impact

  • ODI: Focus on bonuses for 50+ runs and 4+ wickets

Example of Scoring

Player: Virat Kohli (captain)

— Scored 75 runs: 75

— Strike rate of 145 in T20: +10

— Caught 2 catches: 20

— Total: (75 + 10 + 20) × 2 (captain) = 210 points.
